Brouwerij De Uddelaer was a microbrewery located in Staverden, near Ermelo, in the Gelderland province of the Netherlands. Founded in 2017, the brewery was established in a historic coach house, giving it a unique and characterful ambiance in the heart of the Veluwe region. The brewery was owned by Jacques Brinkman, a former world and Olympic champion in field hockey, who turned his passion for craft beer into a local brewing venture. The brewery operated until 2023, when it closed its doors. During its years of operation, De Uddelaer brewed a range of craft beers that reflected the natural surroundings of the Veluwe. Among its notable beers was the Uddelaer Dubbel Bock, a deep-red, dark-coloured bock beer that drew attention for its rich malt character. The brewery offered visitors an immersive brewpub experience, including guided tours and beer tastings, making it a popular destination for beer enthusiasts exploring the region. De Uddelaer positioned itself as more than just a brewery — it was a hospitality destination where guests could enjoy a tasting of three craft beers paired with a guided tour of the brewing facilities. This brewpub concept, set against the scenic backdrop of the Veluwe, helped establish the brewery as a distinctive stop on the regional craft beer map during its years of activity.
