Dorpsbrouwerij de Pimpelmeesch

Dorpsbrouwerij de Pimpelmeesch is a craft brewery founded in 2010 in Chaam, a small village in the Noord-Brabant province of the Netherlands. The name itself is a playful nod to the Brabant way of life: 'pimpelen' is a colloquial Dutch term for casual drinking among friends, perfectly capturing the brewery's convivial and community-rooted spirit. As a true village brewery, de Pimpelmeesch is deeply embedded in local culture and craftsmanship. The brewery focuses on an assortment of artisanal specialty beers, drawing inspiration from Belgian and Dutch brewing traditions. Their portfolio includes styles such as a Belgian Tripel — the Chaamse Tripel, also known as Blonde Snol, clocking in at 8.5% ABV — a Dubbel called Vurige Non, a ruby-red ale with aromas of caramel and sweet malts, and a seasonal Saison-style beer with fruity and floral character. The range reflects a commitment to traditional malt-forward and yeast-driven brewing. Before acquiring their own brewing installation, de Pimpelmeesch contract-brewed at Brouwerij De 3 Horne, demonstrating their dedication to quality even in the brewery's earliest years. Based in the heart of Brabant, the brewery has served as a production partner for other craft labels in the region, underlining its role as an established and respected name in the Dutch specialty beer scene.
