De Brouwschuur is a brewery hub located in Weert, in the southern Dutch province of Limburg, situated within the Weerter Stadsbrouwerij on the Parallelweg. The facility operates as a shared brewing infrastructure — a so-called 'brouwhub' — where small and independent breweries can access professional equipment and facilities to develop and produce their own beers. This collaborative model makes De Brouwschuur a unique and community-driven presence in the Dutch craft beer landscape. As a brouwhub, De Brouwschuur supports a wide variety of brewing projects and beer styles, ranging from fruit beers to more experimental craft styles. The facility has been used by numerous small breweries and brewing collectives, including collaborations tied to charitable events such as the Beer Geeks Beat ALS brew day. De Brouwschuur also holds the rights to develop and distribute beers under the Wertha Bier name, following an intensified partnership with Stichting Wertha Bier established in 2022. De Brouwschuur also functions as a proeflokaal — a tasting room — where beer lovers can experience the results of the brewing activity on-site. The venue is listed among notable Dutch brewery destinations and has gained recognition for its approachable, Limburg-rooted beer culture and its role in supporting the local and regional craft brewing community.
