Brouwerij Kerkom is a farmhouse brewery located in Kerkom, near Sint-Truiden in the Belgian province of Limburg. Described in The Oxford Companion to Beer as perhaps the oldest continuously operated farm brewery in Belgium, it has built a reputation rooted in authenticity and traditional craftsmanship. Founded and run by brewer Marc Limet and Marina Siongers, the brewery operated for 25 years before being put up for sale. More recently, the production, commercialisation and distribution of Kerkom's beers were taken over by Brouwerij De Ranke, which now brews the beers on its own premises. Brewery Kerkom is best known for its Bink range of beers, a line of characterful Belgian ales brewed with an uncompromising, 100% artisanal philosophy. The portfolio includes styles such as a Belgian Dark Strong Ale and a bruin, with the beers known for their fruity, dry and hoppy character. The brewery describes its approach as brewing real beer — no shortcuts, no compromises. Among the most notable releases is the Bink Winterkoninkske, a Belgian Dark Strong Ale that has earned a score of 88 on BeerAdvocate with over 200 ratings. The brewery's farmhouse setting in the village of Kerkom has long made it a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and beer enthusiasts visiting the Limburg region.
