Kerkom Winterkoninkske
Winterkoninkske is Brouwerij Kerkom's winter seasonal, from a brewery rooted in Sint-Truiden, Limburg since 1878. Brewed with seven malt varieties—including rolled oats—and two Belgian hop types, this dark, robust beer delivers a full, creamy body and genuine warmth.
It pours deep mahogany brown with a substantial tan head. The nose is rich with molasses, dark treacle, and spicy notes. On the palate, roasted bread malts, plums, raisins, and subtle caramel emerge, with a full, slightly sweet character. The finish is soft and lingering, with gentle bitterness that doesn't overpower.
A quintessential winter warmer—best savored slowly during cold months, when its 8.3% ABV and comforting profile shine.
