Compañía Cervecera de Canarias (CCC) is the leading brewery of the Canary Islands, founded in 1939 during a turbulent period in Spanish history. With production facilities in both Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the brewery has grown into the dominant force in regional beer production across the archipelago. Today, CCC operates as a majority subsidiary of AB InBev, which holds a 51% stake in the company, giving it access to an international network while maintaining its distinctly Canarian identity. The brewery's portfolio is anchored by two flagship brands: Dorada and Tropical. These regional lagers have become deeply embedded in the culture and daily life of the Canary Islands, serving as the go-to beers for locals and visitors alike. Alongside these homegrown brands, CCC also produces and distributes internationally recognized labels such as Beck's and Corona for the local market, reflecting its role as a full-service brewing operation within the AB InBev family. In 2024, CCC invested €12 million in its Las Palmas de Gran Canaria facility to expand production capacity and improve sustainability. The brewery also gained attention at the 2022 European Brewery Convention congress in Madrid, where its quality manager offered an inside look at day-to-day brewing operations, highlighting CCC's commitment to technical excellence and continuous improvement.
