Brasserie St-Feuillien

Brasserie St-Feuillien, pronounced "Foo-Yen," is a family-owned abbey brewery located in Le Roeulx, a small town situated between Charleroi and Mons in the Belgian province of Hainaut. The brewery was founded in 1873 by Stéphanie Friart, and the family has continued operations through five generations. In 2000, the brewery was officially renamed Brasserie St-Feuillien, cementing its identity around the historic abbey ales for which it had long been known. St-Feuillien is celebrated as one of the world's most highly regarded producers of Belgian Abbey Ales. Its portfolio spans a wide range of traditional Belgian styles, rooted in the regional brewing heritage of Hainaut, where small breweries once crafted amber, top-fermented ales aged in wooden barrels. From the early twentieth century, the brewery expanded its range, and today produces beers across multiple styles, including a Blond, a Grisette Blanche, a Quadrupel, and a Grand Cru. Each beer reflects the brewery's deep commitment to high-fermentation traditions and careful craftsmanship. Among its notable releases is the St-Feuillien Grisette Blanche, which has earned gold medal recognition on the international stage, and the St-Feuillien Five, a specialty Belgian Blond Ale. The historic brewery site in Le Roeulx also welcomes visitors, offering an authentic experience of Belgian brewing culture and family tradition that has been sustained for over 150 years.
