Brasserie De La Senne

Brasserie de la Senne is a Brussels-based craft brewery founded in 2010 by Yvan De Baets and Bernard LeBoucq. At the time of its founding, it was only the second brewery based in Brussels, established with the clear ambition to push and reinforce Belgium's world-renowned brewing traditions from within its capital city. In June 2021, the brewery relocated to the iconic Tour & Taxis site in Brussels, giving it a prominent new home in the city it proudly represents. The brewery has built a reputation for bold, hop-forward beers that bring a modern craft sensibility to classic Belgian styles. Brasserie de la Senne is credited with reviving appreciation for strongly hopped beers in Belgium. Their portfolio includes a range of seasonal releases alongside their core range, and the brewery operates without a family brewing background, making it a true independent craft venture rooted in passion rather than tradition. Among their most iconic beers are Zinnebir, a pale ale that has become a Brussels classic, and Taras Boulba, a blonde session beer brewed with noble hops. Their Jambe-De-Bois is celebrated as one of the most bitter Tripel-style beers in all of Belgium. Brasserie de la Senne is consistently recognised as one of the most important craft breweries in Europe.
