Brouwerij Avereest

Brouwerij Avereest is a craft brewery based in Dedemsvaart, in the Dutch province of Overijssel. The brewery draws on a rich local history: in 1818, brewer Roelof Veeningen first brought beer to the Reestdal region, supplying peat workers with locally brewed beer. After more than a century of absence, that tradition was revived when Brouwerij Avereest was founded in 2017, restoring artisanal brewing to the area after a long hiatus. The brewery operates as an independent brewhouse with its own copper kettles, and currently offers around 12 beers in its range. Brouwerij Avereest positions itself as a specialty beer producer with a strong connection to local heritage and regional identity. Brewing between the copper kettles, visitors can taste and experience the origins of the surrounding landscape and its history. The brewery is set up in a brewhouse that reflects its historical roots, giving both the space and the beers a sense of place. With a firm eye on the past and an ambition for the future, Brouwerij Avereest represents a new chapter in the brewing tradition of the Reestdal.
