Lighttown Brewers was founded in 2023 in Eindhoven, Netherlands, as a shared production brewery — a joint venture between three established Dutch craft beer brands: 100 Watt Brewery, Van Moll Craft Beer, and Stadsbrouwerij 013. Operating from a large central facility, the brewery was set up to pool resources and production capacity, allowing multiple independent craft breweries to scale up their operations under one roof. The initiative represented a collaborative model in the Dutch craft beer landscape, aimed at strengthening smaller breweries in an increasingly competitive market. From its central Eindhoven facility, Lighttown Brewers served as the production backbone for brands including Van Moll, 100 Watt, and Jolie. Beyond its founding partners, the brewery also took on contract brewing work for other clients, including a collaboration with Conbit Beer Engineers on an Amber Ale, and custom label projects for companies such as Dekkers International. This contract and collaborative brewing model positioned Lighttown Brewers as a versatile production hub within the Dutch craft beer scene. Despite its ambitions, Lighttown Brewers faced significant financial pressure. The brewery was declared bankrupt in March 2026, with its inventory subsequently auctioned. Prior to closure, a crowdfunding campaign was launched in an attempt to raise 1.2 million euros to save the operation. Lighttown Brewers leaves behind a brief but notable chapter in Eindhoven's craft beer history.
