Goede Kant van het Spoor is a Dutch craft brewery founded in 2015, rooted in the Noord-Brabant region of the Netherlands. The brewery was started by Paul Driessen, who discovered his passion for brewing and took a brewing course before going on to develop his own flavour-driven vision. What began as a personal pursuit quickly evolved into a serious craft brewing operation, with Paul becoming known for his hands-on, experimental approach to beer. The brewery's portfolio is characterised by bold and adventurous beer styles, ranging from robust imperial stouts to tripels and specialty ales. Goede Kant van het Spoor is known for pushing creative boundaries, incorporating unconventional ingredients such as walnut, vanilla, and even a piece of asteroid into their brews. Beers like Goeie Goud and Travail of Seven reflect the brewery's dedication to craftsmanship and originality. The brewery also collaborates with other brewers and has been active within the Dutch craft beer community through huurbrouwerijen (contract brewing) setups. In 2025, Goede Kant van het Spoor celebrated its tenth anniversary with the release of a special Untappd collaboration beer called Derailed, marking a decade of boundary-pushing brewing. The brewery has built a loyal following and earns strong ratings on platforms like Untappd, reflecting its standing among Dutch craft beer enthusiasts.
