St. Louis Kriek Lambic from Kasteel Brouwerij Vanhonsebrouck is a refreshing cherry beer with a bright ruby-red colour and pale pink head. Brewed on a traditional lambic base, it is complemented with juice from Oblacinska cherries that mature for six months on gueuze. The aroma is dominated by ripe cherry notes, both sweet and inviting. On the palate, the sweet cherry fruit character shines through, balanced by a subtle tartness that rounds out the profile. This results in a crisp, fruit-forward beer that drinks light and quenching.
