À propos
Tynt Meadow is England's first Trappist beer, brewed by Cistercian monks at Mount Saint Bernard Abbey in Leicestershire. The name honours the meadow where monastic life was re-established in the Midlands. This full-bodied Dubbel is crafted with English barley, English hops and an English yeast strain, twice-fermented using water drawn from the abbey's own well. The beer balances dark chocolate, pepper and fig notes in a rich, rounded body, finishing warm and dry. Tynt Meadow marries Trappist tradition with locally sourced, sustainably grown ingredients—a modern revival of the ales once brewed within these monastery walls.
