La Trappe Tripel is an authentic Trappist ale brewed by Bierbrouwerij De Koningshoeven since 1884 at the abbey in Berkel-Enschot. This classic tripel balances a candy-sweet, lightly malty character with fruity notes and pleasant bitterness. Bottled with yeast and sugar, the beer continues to ferment in the bottle, developing a distinctive aroma. The nose reveals aromas of banana, apricot and aniseed, supported by hints of vanilla and nuts. On the palate, peach and grapefruit emerge, tempered by a sweet, fruity finish. At 8% alcohol, it delivers warmth without heaviness, true to the monks' traditional recipes.
