La Trappe Chateau de l'Horte is a distinctive collaboration between Bierbrouwerij De Koningshoeven and the French wine house Château de l'Horte. This dark Quadrupel is barrel-aged, resulting in a complex 10% ABV beer shaped by its time in wine casks. Vanilla and wood lead the character, joined by notes of dark red fruit, bay leaf and caramel. The palate mirrors this complexity—rich and malty-sweet with subtle tartness and a woody, slightly bitter finish.
