Sor Pompeo is an Italian Dubbel from Mastri Birrai Umbri, one of Italy's largest craft breweries. Brewed according to the 'field to glass' philosophy, this beer uses 100% Umbrian malt and local ingredients, including lentils from the region. The beer displays a deep amber colour with a consistent head bearing hazelnut hues. The aroma is intense, dominated by roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate notes. On the palate, toasted malt takes centre stage, supported by the same chocolate and coffee character, creating a cohesive tasting experience. At 8% ABV, it delivers warmth and body without heaviness. The finish is clean and dry, making this a versatile Dubbel suitable for various occasions.
