Tropicana was an experimental IPA from the LABS series by Kaf & Koren, the Rotterdam-based brewery known for distinctive craft beers. This west coast-style IPA distinguished itself through the addition of kaffir lime, bringing a fresh, citrus-driven dimension to its hoppy character.

With a modest 5.9% ABV, the focus remained on flavour rather than alcohol strength. The blend of American hop varieties and the distinctive lime variety created a tropical character that extends beyond standard citrus hops. This was one of the experiments through which Kaf & Koren pushed their creative boundaries.
