Blue Tiles is a Double IPA from FrauGruber Craft Brewing in Augsburg, Germany, a collaboration with Portuguese brewery Dois Corvos. FrauGruber was founded in 2016 by childhood friends Enzo Frauenschuh and Matthias Gruber, whose names combine to form the brewery's identity. The beer showcases Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin hops in a carefully balanced blend. On the nose, blueberry, tropical fruit and wine-like undertones emerge. The palate is soft and juicy, with a well-integrated hop bitterness that remains approachable. Despite its 8.3% ABV, the finish stays clean and inviting, making this a complex yet drinkable Double IPA.
