Troost Weizen is a classic German-style wheat beer from Brouwerij Troost, brewed in Amsterdam since 2013. This light wheat beer at 4.7% alcohol delivers a bright, fruity experience with characteristic hefeweizen notes. It combines sweet malty undertones with subtle spice and the pleasant, sticky texture typical of wheat beers. The brewery uses locally grown ingredients and brews everything in-house at their historic locations in De Pijp and Westergas, two of Amsterdam's most iconic neighborhoods. In the glass, the beer appears pale yellow to orange, with a fruity aroma offering hints of banana and sweet malt. On the palate, you'll find the full, glutinous mouthfeel that defines wheat beers. The flavour evolves from sweet and malty to warming and spicy, finishing with a pleasant, lingering warmth.
