Liefmans Glühkriek is a seasonal beer from Oudenaarde, inspired by mulled wine. The brewery blends young and mature lambic with Belgian cherries and a distinctive spice blend of cinnamon, clove and star anise. The result is a deep dark-red beer with brown hues—intensely sweet with tart cherry aromas balanced by warming spice notes. The beer can be enjoyed both cold and heated, making it ideal for long winter evenings.
