Windmills & Weathervanes is an Imperial Stout from Boatrocker Brewers & Distillers, a family-owned Melbourne brewery founded in 2009. At 9.5% ABV, this beer is aged in bourbon barrels and finished with cacao nibs, vanilla and cinnamon. The nose opens with wood and bourbon character, followed by earthy undertones. On the palate, the rich dark malt base meets the warming influence of barrel maturation, while the finish is dry and assertively bitter—a hearty ale that rewards contemplation.
