Browar Pinta

Browar Pinta is widely recognised as Poland's first craft brewery, founded in 2011. The brewery made an immediate mark on the Polish beer scene by releasing the country's first IPA — a beer called 'Atak Chmielu' (Hop Attack), brewed in the style of an American India Pale Ale. This groundbreaking release helped ignite what has since been described as Poland's craft beer revolution. For a number of years Pinta operated as a contract brewery, collaborating with other facilities to produce its beers, before eventually building its own brewhouse in the municipality of Radziechowy-Wieprz near Żywiec, which was under construction in spring 2019. Browar Pinta has built a reputation as a bold and adventurous brewery, pushing boundaries across a wide range of beer styles. Their portfolio stretches from hop-forward American Pale Ales and IPAs to richly complex imperial pastry stouts. A notable example is their Makowiec-inspired imperial pastry stout, brewed with poppy seeds, raisins, lactose, oranges and vanilla — a nod to the traditional Polish poppy seed cake. This creative approach to ingredients and styles has positioned Pinta as one of the shining lights of the Eastern European craft brewing scene, earning recognition from international beer importers and enthusiasts alike.
