Boon Moriau Oude Geuze

Moriau Oude Geuze

About

Moriau Oude Geuze from Brouwerij Boon in Lembeek represents the heart of Belgian lambic tradition. This geuze is a carefully composed blend: 90% mild 18-month-old lambic combined with 5% strong 3-year-old lambic and 5% young beer, all matured in oak. The result is a refined, bone-dry beer with layers of complexity built on wild fermentation and patient aging. It pours clear golden with a white head. The nose reveals classic lambic character—farmhouse funk, wild yeasts, and subtle fruit notes. On the palate, tart citrus and white grape skins meet a dry, astringent finish. This is geuze in its purest form: fresh yet aged, gentle yet uncompromising.
