First Chop Brewing Arm is a craft brewery based in Salford, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. Founded in 2012, the brewery started small — producing just 400 litres of beer per month — and has since grown into a recognised name in the British craft beer scene. Originally operating out of a railway arch near Manchester, a setting shared by several of the city's celebrated independent breweries, First Chop has built its identity around inclusivity and accessibility in brewing. The brewery has made a clear commitment to crafting gluten-free and vegan-friendly beers, setting it apart from many of its peers in the UK craft sector. All of its beers are brewed to be suitable for those with gluten sensitivities, without compromising on flavour or craft quality. This dedication has earned First Chop recognition not only among beer lovers but also within wider food and drink circles, including acknowledgement from the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) in March 2017. First Chop describes itself as producing award-winning gluten-free and vegan beer, with a philosophy of 'craft beer for all the people.' The brewery operates out of Unit 3 Trinity Row, Trinity Way, Salford, and offers a trade portal alongside its consumer-facing website. Its beers are available in can format and listed across beer platforms such as Untappd and BeerAdvocate.
