De Mortselarij is a craft brewery based in Mortsel, a municipality in the Flemish Region near Antwerp, Belgium. The brewery has built a reputation for doing things a little differently, crafting artisanal beers with a distinctive edge — a philosophy that sets it apart in the vibrant Belgian craft beer scene. De Mortselarij brews across a diverse range of styles, embracing modern craft trends while staying rooted in Belgian brewing tradition. Their portfolio includes hop-forward beers such as IPAs and session NEIPAs with tropical character, as well as darker offerings like a deep red winter beer. They work with quality hop varieties and are not afraid to experiment with formats, having released beers in can as well as bottle. One of their most recognised beers is Pacific Monster, an IPA at eight percent ABV, which earned the brewery recognition in beer competitions. Yankee Monkey serves as a companion beer to Pacific Monster within their lineup. De Mortselarij has also collaborated with other breweries, including a joint project with Brasserie Surréaliste.
