Brouwerij Vandijck is a craft brewery based in Lommel, in the Belgian province of Limburg. The brewery has its roots in homebrewing, and in 2019 took the step towards becoming a commercial brewery, making its beers available to a wider audience. The brewery became operational in the spring of 2022 and is situated in the Bosland area, a natural landscape that clearly inspires the brewery's identity and character. Brouwerij Vandijck focuses on artisanal, small-batch craft beers with a distinctive character. Among its notable beers is the PLÉKPOT, a honey beer brewed in January and February and ready to enjoy in April or May, reflecting a seasonal approach to brewing. The brewery also produces the ELEXIR range, which includes ELEXIR SAUTERNE and its sister beer ELEXIR MOSCATEL, demonstrating an interest in barrel-influenced and wine-inspired beer styles. These beers, such as the Destemido Donker BA, show a willingness to experiment with complex fermentation and aging techniques. Brouwerij Vandijck is an active participant in the Belgian craft beer scene, appearing at beer festivals and in specialist beer shops. The brewery also organises brewery visits and brewing days, welcoming beer enthusiasts and even school groups to discover the brewing process firsthand. In 2024, the brewery was listed among the winners at the European Beer Challenge, adding an international accolade to its growing reputation.
