Brouwerij 't Blauwe Hert is a Dutch craft brewery with roots in Aalsmeer, North Holland. The brewery was born in 2012 when a group of friends decided to brew beer together for the first time — no experience, no plan, just a dream and a lot of courage. What started as a hobby grew into a full-fledged craft brewery. After closing in 2016, the brewery resumed brewing operations around 2023, bringing its passion for craft beer back to life. The brewery's portfolio reflects an adventurous and internationally inspired approach to brewing. Among its beers is the Kauyumari, a Mexican Pale Lager that draws inspiration from the deep traditions of the Sierra Madre and pays tribute to the Wixarika, an indigenous people of Mexico. The range also includes a Saison called Fantôme, pointing to a diverse lineup of styles that spans lagers, farmhouse ales and beyond. The brewery positions itself under the tagline 'Mooi Nederlands craftbier' — beautiful Dutch craft beer. Brouwerij 't Blauwe Hert's beers can be found locally in Aalsmeer, including at Slijterij van Schaik, and the brewery has appeared at events such as the Speciaalbierfestival Hardenberg. Now fourteen years since its founding, the recipes have evolved while the original spirit of curiosity and passion for beer remains at the heart of everything they brew.
