Ignis Quadruple is an amber-hued abbey ale from Grimbergen Abbey Brewery, brewed with smoked malt. It is among the first brews from the restored brewery on the abbey grounds, returning production to the site after nearly 200 years. This quadrupel delivers a full-bodied flavour built on roasted malt, caramel and hazelnut notes. Dried fruits, clove and subtle smoke from the beechwood-smoked malt provide complexity and warmth. The 10% ABV is present but well-balanced. Full and fruity yet approachable, this beer honours both the abbey's medieval heritage and modern brewing craft.
