Black in Time Machine is a Black IPA from Uiltje Brewing Company in Haarlem, brewed with German malt and an assertive hop bill. This is the hoppy take on the Black IPA style: loaded with tropical fruit, citrus and roasted character with a hint of coffee. Columbus, Chinook, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin hops deliver the distinctive flavour profile in this 8.2% ABV ale. The dark colour comes from roasted malt, but hop bitterness dominates the palate. Expect tropical fruit, citrus brightness and a full, dry finish. A beer that proves Black IPA doesn't have to be malt-forward.
