A Prize for Collaboration

Celtic Crush is the result of a remarkable partnership between two East Anglian breweries: Boudicca Brewing Co from Norfolk and Humber Doucy Brewing Co from Suffolk. This 5.2% ABV strawberry saison has just won the prestigious Outstanding Collaboration Award at the Tastebuds Collaboration Awards. The judges praised not only the innovative product but also how the collaboration supported Boudicca Brewing Co's relaunch and strengthened regional business relationships.

A Distinctive Creation

Celtic Crush is a strawberry saison that celebrates local ingredients and East Anglian heritage. The two breweries, both with historical names, form a natural partnership that brings together the rich traditions of Norfolk and Suffolk. Humber Doucy also brews traditional ales for Boudicca, but for this project they created something entirely new.

Tasting Notes

The nose reveals aromas of banana, apricot, and clove. On the palate, these fruity notes of banana and apricot dominate, complemented by Belgian candi, while clove remains subtly present. The finish is clean with a soft bitterness that rounds out the experience perfectly.
