Lagunitas Brewing Company partners with Iron Maiden for an American interpretation of the iconic Trooper beer. This is the second stateside release in the Trooper line, following a previous collaboration with BrewDog in 2021. Bruce Dickinson, Iron Maiden's frontman and experienced brewer, has been personally involved in crafting this release.
The Lagunitas Trooper West Coast IPA is a pungent 6.6% ABV India Pale Ale, brewed with the modern Krush hop variety. This beer delivers a contemporary take on the classic West Coast IPA style, perfectly aligned with Lagunitas' California brewing heritage.
Tasting Profile
The nose presents grapefruit, resinous pine, and floral hop with citrus peel. On the palate, caramel and similar hop characteristics emerge. The finish is clean with balanced bitterness and a resinous, lingering quality.
