Narrow Gauge Brewing Company is a craft brewery based in Florissant, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis. The brewery takes its name from the historic West End Narrow Gauge railroad, a line that connected St. Louis to Florissant back in 1878. Narrow Gauge Brewing Company opened in June 2016, starting out in the basement of Cugino's restaurant in Florissant before growing to meet increasing demand from the local community and beyond. The brewery has established itself as a serious craft-beer destination in the St. Louis area, regularly hosting dinners, special releases, and visiting brewers at its taproom. Its portfolio leans heavily into hop-forward styles, with beers like the West End Double Dry Hopped Hazy India Pale Ale and an American IPA at 7% ABV among its notable offerings. The brewery has also collaborated with other respected names in the craft beer world, including a Hazy IPA brewed in partnership with the Voltron brand. Narrow Gauge Brewing Company has earned recognition beyond its regional roots, appearing alongside respected American craft breweries at invitational festivals such as Side Project Brewing's first invitational. It is widely considered a mainstay of the Missouri and greater St. Louis craft beer scene, known for its quality hop-driven ales and its vibrant taproom experience.
