Graafsch Genot is a craft brewery rooted in the historic fortified town of Grave, in the Netherlands. Founded around 2011–2014, the brewery draws its name and identity from the rich history of its home city — 'Graafsch' referring to the county heritage of the region. The brewer, Ed, proved to be a natural talent, and what began as a passion for homebrewing quickly grew into a commercial venture with a loyal local following. The brewery specialises in traditional and characterful Belgian-inspired styles, crafted with clear attention to quality and regional storytelling. Among its signature beers are the St. Elisabeth Dubbel, a full-bodied dark ale with historical resonance, the Pothuus Tripel, a strong and aromatic tripel, and the Strafpaard, a distinctive beer brewed with whisky malt that adds a unique depth of flavour. Each year, Graafsch Genot also releases special seasonal beers, keeping the range fresh and exciting for enthusiasts. With a small but carefully curated portfolio, Graafsch Genot represents the spirit of Dutch craft brewing — intimate, locally anchored, and rich in flavour. The brewery celebrates the stories and heritage of Grave in every bottle, making each beer a taste of the town's layered history.
