Weihenstephaner Original Helles is a classic Bavarian helles lager from the world's oldest brewery, established on the site of Weihenstephan Abbey in Freising. Brewed with Pilsner malt as its foundation and supplemented with small amounts of caramel malt, this pale lager delivers subtle malt character without excessive sweetness. The nose is clean and rich, with notes of fresh bread and grainy maltiness. On the palate, a light, crisp and highly drinkable lager emerges, with pleasant malt sweetness that arrives early.
