Weihenstephaner's 1516 Kellerbier is an unfiltered lager brewed in 2016 to mark the 500th anniversary of the Bavarian Reinheitsgebot (beer purity law). The beer is crafted with the rare hop variety Hallertauer Record, now cultivated by only a single farmer. Naturally hazy and unfiltered, this Kellerbier opens with a soft, mellow character.
