Walhalla Elixer VIII is a New England IPA from Walhalla Craft Beer, the Amsterdam brewery founded by former jazz musician Aart van Bergen. Brewed with malted oats, oat flakes, barley and wheat, this hazy ale delivers a soft, creamy mouthfeel characteristic of the style. The hop character shines through CRYO hops—concentrated hop products that intensify flavour—combined with Citra and Idaho-7 varieties. Expect citrus notes and subtle spice without harsh bitterness. At just 20 IBU, the hop bite remains gentle and well-integrated into the beer. A lightly sweet finish and moderate 6.4% ABV make this an approachable NEIPA, pairing well with lighter dishes such as chicken and white fish.
