The base beer, Bacchus Vlaams Oud Bruin, matures for at least 18 months in oak barrels before cherries are added—a mixed fermentation tradition the brewery has maintained since 1930. The taste balances sweetness with acidity. Cherry notes dominate, while a subtle sourness builds gradually as you drink.
