Uiltje's Imperial Pineapple Weizenbock marries the fruity, yeasty character of a Weizenbock with fresh pineapple. This 8.5% beer from Haarlem brings tropical fruit to both the nose and finish, complemented by the white pepper and banana esters typical of Weizenbock fermentation. The palate is surprisingly light and crisp despite the higher alcohol content, with a distinct acidity that lifts the pineapple. Yeast funk adds texture and mouthfeel without heaviness. This is Uiltje's unconventional take on the Weizenbock style, pushing the boundaries of the traditional form.
