Wagenings Hopfen Blut is an amber-coloured Kölsch from Stadsbrouwerij Wageningen, brewed with local barley malt and hops from the region. This smooth and subtle beer combines full body with a pronounced hop character derived from the Wageningen hop harvest. The glass reveals light fruity and lightly sweet notes, supported by solid malt backbone. Fine spice and moderate hop presence give the beer texture, finishing with a pleasant bitterness that lingers. A fine example of craft brewing rooted in local ingredients and terroir.
