Shoque le Boque BA is a Doppelbock from 100 Watt Brewery (formerly Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven) in Eindhoven. This barrel-aged beer matures for ten years in Jamaican rum casks and is enriched with tonka beans, creating a distinctly sweet and complex flavour profile.

The aroma is subtle yet present, with sweet notes emerging. On the palate, sweetness dominates, with clear impressions of vanilla, caramel, coconut, cherry and almond. Tonka beans add a characteristic marzipan-like undertone. Despite the sweetness, the beer brings a refined bitterness that provides balance.

At 8.4% alcohol, this is a substantial, intense beer best enjoyed slowly. Its dark brown to nearly black colour with creamy foam underscores its rich character.
