Mastodont is a collaboration between Stadsbrouwerij De Pelgrim in Rotterdam and Kaapse Brouwers, a Russian Imperial Stout of imposing character. At 10.5% ABV and jet-black in colour, this beer delivers a full and complex experience. The brewery has been crafting beers since 1995 using Rotterdam water and pure ingredients, unpasteurised.

This stout displays deep roasted chocolate malts, liquorice and anise notes. The palate is both sweet and bitter, with a full body and notable carbonation for the style. A substantial beer that lives up to its name.
