St. Bernardus Tokyo is an unfiltered Belgian wheat ale brewed to celebrate the opening of the first St. Bernardus-themed bar in Tokyo in 2012. This golden beer combines fresh citrus notes with a delicate floral character of field chamomile and fruity yeast aromas of banana and red apple. Positioned between a witbier and saison, Tokyo showcases a fuller mouthfeel thanks to generous wheat malt. The palate reveals subtle spice notes and a hint of clove, with a crisp, dry finish and light citrus lingering.
