Laudatur XIX is an annual special release from Sori Brewing in Tallinn, Estonia. This blend of Imperial Baltic Porter and Barley Wine is aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon and Prestige Cognac barrels, creating a complex and layered character. The dual barrel maturation brings sophistication and depth. Cognac casks contribute elegance and fruity notes, while bourbon barrels add warmth and vanilla undertones. The result is a full, intense ale with a smooth mouthfeel despite its 10.4% ABV. This 2019 vintage demonstrates how Sori Brewing, founded by Finnish brewers in Estonia, combines craft expertise with experimental barrel aging.
