Siphon Cendre blends three brewing traditions: British Stout, American IPA, and Belgian Saison into a single Black India Saison at 6.5% ABV. It pours dark brown to near-black with a rocky foam head. The nose opens with roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and licorice. The palate carries these roasted elements through, layered with subtle smoke and resinous, tropical hop notes. Full-bodied and complex, this beer challenges conventional style boundaries with a grassy undertone and warming finish.
