Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout is a classic English stout brewed by the independent Samuel Smith's Brewery in Tadcaster, Yorkshire. This beer was reintroduced in 1980 to revive a style popular in the late 1800s but lost before the Second World War. It is brewed with barley, roasted malt, oats and traditional English hops. The beer pours nearly opaque, dark brown to black, crowned with a creamy, substantial head.
