Rascals Brewing Company in Dublin has crafted an inventive hybrid with Yankee White IPA, merging the hop character and aroma of an American IPA with the malt bill of a wheat beer and Belgian witbier yeast. The result is a refreshing brew with a light body and soft mouthfeel that drinks easily despite its assertive hop profile. On the nose, big citrus and peach notes dominate, with subtle spice from the Belgian yeast. The palate is well-balanced: a semi-sweet malt base supports bright citrus and white grape highlights.
