Omer Blond is the flagship of Brouwerij Omer Vander Ghinste, a Belgian family brewery with over 130 years of brewing heritage. Introduced in 2008, this strong blonde ale embodies five generations of tradition and craftsmanship. It is a natural, top-fermented beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle, brewed to a classic recipe using quality malted barley from the Loire region and three aromatic hop varieties. The beer shines in a pale golden hue with a full, fruity character. Aromas of fruit, yeast and light bready malt blend with subtle spice and floral hop notes. The palate shows moderate sweetness followed by a dry finish with pleasant, understated bitterness. At 8% ABV with lively carbonation, Omer Blond strikes a refined balance—complex enough to reward attention, approachable enough for regular enjoyment.
