Gaia from Oedipus Brewing is a West Coast IPA built on American hop varieties. Its amber hue carries grapefruit, citrus and stone fruit notes, backed by piney and resinous character from Cascade, Columbus, Chinook and Centennial hops at 7% ABV. The palate is crisp and dry, finishing with assertive hop bitterness. The malt backbone is restrained, letting hops lead the show. This is a beer to enjoy fresh—the hop profile fades quickly over time.
