Kloster-Export Dunkel is a dark export lager from Klosterbrauerei Scheyern, a Bavarian monastery brewery with roots reaching back to 1119. Brewed to a traditional recipe using roasted malts, this beer delivers warmth and depth in every sip. The aroma is sweet and malty, with fruity notes of raisins and dates. On the palate, caramel and brown bread flavours emerge, balanced by a restrained hop bitterness that keeps the beer from becoming cloying. The body is full and slightly sticky in texture.
