Septimius Severus is Jopen's Imperial Pilsner, named after the historic beer vessels that once transported Haarlem's famous brews. Brewed with premium German Pilsner malt and Nelson Sauvin hops, this beer spends six months maturing in Chardonnay and Cognac barrels. The result is remarkably clean yet intensely fruity, with an aroma reminiscent of white wine.
At 9% ABV, it punches above its weight without sacrificing elegance or balance.
